Change is the result of design research and field research on the sport scene in India. Here you will read in detail about the process I apply in my design projects.
In order to have a better understanding of the behavior of the Indian population towards sports, my partner and I went to several gyms and parks like the Lodi garden, New Delhi. There we observed, recorded and interviewed people. This various ways of collecting information about the users habits resulted in those insights, along with this problematic:
How to guide users wellness in their everyday life. How to create an impact on everyone? Even people who aren’t into sports?

After brainstorming sessions, post-it boards, rough sketches and discussions, we decided to keep 3 ideas to present to our jury. Following the review with our peers we agreed to combine 2 concepts to create a more complete and complex product.
We are going to create an app as well as interactive panels located all around the city to invite people to practice sports.
Application to guide the user in practicing sports for their wellness
Competition between cities and interactive panel
Creation of a path to discover the city and practice sport
The app is for people who are already practicing sport but also want to enhance their wellness outdoors. It takes in consideration both; the user as well as the environment. It helps people to connect, creating a new community.

The interactive panel is for curious individuals who don’t practice sports. Installed in parks it invites them to share a moment with their loved ones through active and passive sport but also by learning more about their surroundings.
